Ophthalmology (Eye) Department
Ophthalmology department situated on 2nd floor of the hospital building, having Prof. Dr.M.A.Rahman, Associate Prof. Dr.AKM Mozammel Haque, Assistant Prof. Dr.Soheli Zaman, Assistant registrar Dr. Naima Yesmin, Ophthalmic Assistant Hemali Rangdi.
With this vibrant team, we are performing the following academic activities of 4th year and 5th year students:
- Lecture classes
- Small group teaching
- Clinical classes
- Ambulatory teaching
- Bedside teaching
- Instrumental teaching
- Assessment and evaluation of students
- Keeping all the records of the students
- Conduction of Final Professional examination in IMC and other medical college.
- Development of faculties and participation in CME programme.
- Any other activities given by the higher authority.
Clinical activities:
- To run OPD and IPD
- Perform different examinations of the OPD patients (e.g. Spectacle correction, measurement of
intraocular pressure, Slit lamp examination, Fundus examination, Sac patency test and others)
- Teaching the 4th year and 5th year students of clinical placement.
- Perform different operations (e.g. Cataract surgery (SICS), DCR, Pterygium surgery, Chalazion surgery)
