Pharmacology & Therapeutics Department
The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics is dedicated to providing high-quality education and research in the field of medical pharmacology. Our goal is to help students understand the scientific basis of drug action, rational drug use, and the principles of therapeutics.
The department offers both theoretical and practical teaching for undergraduate (MBBS) students, focusing on experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacovigilance. We encourage students to develop critical thinking, ethical prescribing habits, and a commitment to patient safety.
In addition to academic teaching, the department actively participates in research, seminars, and interdepartmental collaborations to promote evidence-based medicine.
