Pathology Department
Pathology is the study of disease, a bridging discipline between basic science and clinical practice. It is devoted to the study of the structural and functional changes in the cells, tissues and organs that lead to disease manifestation. Department of pathology of international medical college plays a pivotal role in both medical education and clinical service. It is responsible for teaching undergraduate students the fundamentals of etiology, pathogenesis, morphology and disease manifestations. In addition to its academic duties, the department provides histopathology as well as cytopathology services to the hospital that aid in accurate disease diagnosis and patient management .It also engaged in research activities aimed at understanding disease pattern and diagnostic technique.
