NICU
The NICU unit is operated under the Department of Pediatric of International Medical College Hospital since 2000 and NICU unit has 10 beds. Within a short time after a baby is born, it can be said how sick or healthy the baby is. Especially if problems are identified in the heart and lungs, it can be life-threatening situation for the child. The main function of the NICU is to provide all kinds of care and treatment for the health of such babies. Needless to say, it is only possible in the NICU to provide oxygen and Artificial Life Support to babies with lung and or heart problems. Other than that various other treatment are given to newborns which are essentially the function of NICU.
